Agave Loco Mexican Grill in Auburn

Great food and great drinks.

This was a terrible, terrible experience. The fact this is a restaurant with decent reviews has made me lose faith in looking at the reviews when choosing a place to eat. Everything is microwaved. Absolutely everything. And everything is, per the servers own admission, made in the morning and served through the entire day.

We haven't been there in a while and it was pretty darn good. Lively atmosphere with lots of college kids and families on Friday night. $3 Pepe Lopez shots all of the time. Service was a bit overwhelmed since it was packed.

Great ambience, great food and nice behaved staff.. loved both the experiences. Loved the chipmangas( might have spelled it wrong) as well.

Wasn't sure what to expect of Mexican food in Auburn and was pleasantly surprised. Yummiest chicken flauta and fresh corn tortillas I've had in quite some time. This from someone raised on TexMex.

The service was great. You get good portions for the amount of money you are charged but the food is honestly sub par. There are too many other Mexican restaurants around the area that are way better. There's no point in wasting your money there.

Food, service and drinks are terrible. So called "bartender" doesn't know how to make anything but margaritas, which are inconsistent at best. Overcharge for well drinks. Have to check your tab very carefully.

Good place to hangout with friends and family.

Would love to say the food was good but didn’t get any. After being seated we waited for at least 10 minutes in a 3/4 empty restaurant and watched waiters and waitresses walk by constantly and no one even bothered to get our drink order so we left

The bar tender was very rude, he argued with a custer and he watered down the drinks. I will never go there again

Service is very good but very young. Food was fresh, plentiful and prepared with care and knowledge. Table of 10 had no mistakes and served quickly. Best Mexican we've had in the area yet.

Good Mexican food. For those who are vegetarian they have a great selection of tasty meals. Clean restrooms.Friendly service.

Nice family atmosphere. Food was good with decent portions. Server was attentive to us even though place was busy. Tamale was good and combo plate was price friendly. Plenty of menu options to choose from. The horchata was great, not too sweet. Having lived in Southwest (NM, AZ) my preference in Mexican food is slightly different but overall it was enjoyable.

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere and it is very clean. I ordered a seafood dish and was surprised at how fresh the shrimp and scallops were. There was no hint of chewiness. The service was excellent.

This place smells incredible even from the parking lot. The food was amazing. I got the Pollo Santa Fe and it was amazing. The portions are huge. Price was on point. The service was friendly. Came for dinner, but their lunch menu looks great, too. We will definitely be back.

I eat here twice a week because the service is well above average!! The food is always good!! Cheese dip is the best in Auburn. The lunch prices are so fair, you can’t eat at a fast food restaurant cheaper than here! I strongly encourage everyone to try them.

Usually a weekly customer, food is always amazing and service is quick even with with a lot of people.

Great place to eat in Auburn. Tons of food options and a very family friendly place. I ordered a lunch special Fajita quesadilla which was AMAZING and my friends ordered chicken fajita lunch and Speedy Gonzales lunch. My favorite Mexican joint is still Durango on 280/431 but Agave Loco is my Auburn favorite.

They're generally a really good restaurant with decent deals. Sometimes they can be a little slow, but they really tend to take care of their customers.

Agave Loco has delicious Mexican food in a comfortable atmosphere with TVs for sports and a large bar. Service so far has been pretty decent, nothing extraordinary but not bad at all, and considering the food and the price, it is plenty good either way. The Horchata is served cold and while a bit sweet, very flavorful. I also really enjoyed the Margaritas. The Tortas are an excellent lunch, and the Carnitas are tender and delicious. Overall I recommend for Mexican in Auburn.

Food is always good. Margaritas are are better than others around the area. Service can be hit or miss.

Lunch portions are small, and prices are kind of high, but overall a good restaurant.
